Solid Needle-Tine greens – Doesn’t effect play.  Done when needed to keep up with quality of green

May 2026

May 15 – Start transition to bermuda grass – May turn grass brown for a short period but playabailty wil still be good.
May 25-26 – Dryjecting of greens (Video)
May 25-27 – Core aeration on Tees 
Venting of greens – This could happen at any point the greens need it. Light top-dress will actually make greens run more smooth and faster

JUNE 2026

June 23 – Core aeration on Tees and Fairways ONLY – NO GREENS
Venting of greens – This could happen at any point the greens need it. Light top-dress will actually make greens run more smooth and faster

JULY 2026

July 21 – Solid tine on Tees and Fairways ONLY – NO GREENS
Venting of greens – This could happen at any point the greens need it. Light top-dress will actually make greens run more smooth and faster

AUGUST 2026
Overseed Prep throughout the month
Golf course will become brown as the bermuda grass becomes dormant.
Towards the end of the month, we begin to scalp fairways and rough. The golf course becomes very firm and fast. Very much tougher playing conditions and more fun to play.  
August 25-September 1 – Course is sprayed out to force into dormancy.  Color changes to more brown daily.  Green are still good at this time but may run slow depending on weather.
